We’ve been lazy bloggers lately, but here’s one from around the regular stomping grounds of Dallas. The Theodore is a pleasant surprise I found with @Mica_Mihaela in Northpark Mall while out for her birthday. My expectations for a mall restatraunt are never particularly high, but it turned out to be a nice break from the crowded parade of commercialist hope that is Northpark.
Eat:
First, baked brie. Then pizza.
It’s a small menu, but nearly everything on it has the kind of above-standard-yet-not-pompously-churchy that calls my name.
Drink:
A whiskey cocktail with a red wine ice ball that I cannot remember the name of.
Guess I should have taken a picture of the drink menu…
Play:
There’s a Pokestop within range of the tables. (And many more outside in the mall.)
Love:
The vintage odd decor – including taxidermy, old keys, and old everyday miscellany.
